EMI tried last week to enjoin the use of a short clip from John Lennon’s Imagine in the movie Expelled. This lawsuit mirrored Yoko Ono failed attempt at censorship. In both cases the court found fair use in the use of the clips. These are the first in a series of ruling that I think will help legalize works like Girl Talks Feed the Animals.
