ACLU cooperating attorney Venkat Balasubramani will join professional photographers to present the free event See No Evil: Constitutional Rights of Photographers at the Seattle Public Library University branch Thursday, Aug 21st at 6pm.
The event is timely, given stories of photography students being questioned and turned away from public places in the name of security, a problem reporters, academics, and amateur photographers have run into, too. Bruce Schneier recently has discussed the phenomenon as the "War on Photography".
Bring your questions and learn about your rights when using personal technology to document what you see in public.
This looks like a great event, I recommend attending. (Disclosure our web goddess works at ACLU)
